EPITACIO RIOS PHARR — Epitacio Rios, 77, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Born in Dr. Coss. N.L.Mex., He lived in Pharr most of his life. He is by preceded in death by his wife, Herlinda Rios; and by his parents, Faustino and Evangelina Rios. Mr. Rios is survived by seven children, Maria Guadalupe (Jesus) Torres of Orland, California, Jorge L. (Juanita) Rios of Pharr, Epitacio (Marisela) Rios of San Juan, Jose Luis Rios, Martin (Juanita) Rios, both of Pharr, Rolando (Yvonne) Rios of La Grange, North Carolina, Ricardo (Elaine) Rios of Pharr; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. “Un hombre Ejemplar, Tierno, Alegre y sobre todo Amoroso” Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 23, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
