GUADALUPE RIOS
PHARR / KANSAS — Guadalupe Rios, 87, died Friday, February 5, 2016, in Kansas.
Born in Mission, Mrs. Rios had lived in Pharr most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Daniel Rios Sr.; her parents, Juan Rojas and Ofelia Rojas; granddaughter, Lizette Delgado; three brothers, Juan Rojas, Teo Rojas and Rogelio Rojas; two sisters, Leonor Cortez and Rosa Rodriguez.
Guadalupe is survived by three sons, Daniel (Teresa) Rios Jr., Armando Rios, Joel (Des) Rios, all of Kansas; three daughters, Gloria (Rene) Hernandez of Pharr, Celia (Juan) Sanchez, Diana (David) Delgado, both of Kansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Maria Guerra and Elvira Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, February 8, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
