Nilda Rios

NILDA RIOS EDINBURG - Nilda Rios, 40, passed away January 9, 2013 while in the care of her loving mother and family. Born in San Juan, Mrs. Rios lived in Edinburg all of her life. Nilda was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted educator in the PSJA and ECISD. Nilda impacted many, both spiritually and in her field of work. She will forever be remembered for her compassion and professionalism in all matters. She is survived by her husband, Joel Rolando Rios; two children, Allyson Amber Rios and Joel Rolando Rios, Jr.; parents, Nereo and Santos Ramos; four siblings, Nereo Ramos, Jr., Nora Nellie (Paul) Arredondo, Norberto (Nennette) Ramos, and Noel Ramos, all of Edinburg; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A prayer service was held Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, January 11, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
