RAFAEL B. RIOS
EDINBURG - Rafael B. Rios, 85, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lydia H. Rios; a son, Manuel Rios; a daughter, Arcilia Rios; two brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Rios is survived by his wife, Maria Inez Rios of Edinburg; eight children, Jorge (Leticia) Rios, Elvia R. (Rene) Flores, both of Edinburg, Ofelia R. (Miguel) Ayala, Hermelinda R. (Guadalupe) Garza, Maribel R. (Gaspar) Ramirez, Rafael (Melissa) Rios, Jr., Lupita R. (Ricardo) Garza and Noe Rios, all of Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; three brothers, Ramon (Diana) Rios of San Antonio, Texas, Antonio (Martha) Rios of Arizona, Roberto (Patricia) Rios of Edinburg; and a sister, Esperanza (Ruben) Ramos of Chicago, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., today, April 19, 2011 and from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 with a 7 p.m. rosary at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
