RITA VELMA RAMIREZ

EDINBURG – Rita Velma Ramirez, 74, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medica Center. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amelio and Remigia Ramirez; and brother, Reynaldo Ramirez. 

Ms. Ramirez is survived by her five siblings, Manuel (Adalia) Ramirez, Rosario (Abdiel) Cuevas, Amelio (Diana) Ramirez Jr., Ella Gisel (Israel) Silva; and sister-in-law, Leonor Ramirez. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
