Elidoro Rivera, age 96, a resident of San Juan went to his heavenly home on Thursday, November 30, 2021, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Amanda Rivera; a son, Rodolfo Rivera; and a precious great-grandson, Oliver Enyx Gutierrez.
Mr. Rivera is survived by his spouse, Diana Rivera; three children, Sylvia (Paul) Johnson, Rosie (Art) Gonzalez, Gracie (David) Trost; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Arturo Rivera, Rebecca Garza, Enriqueta Rivera, and Maria Candelaria Torres.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Vital Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
