WESLACO - Maria "Len" Elena Rivera, 57, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Rivera was born in Weslaco and had lived there most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Jose and Antonia M. Rivera.
Ms. Rivera is survived by a daughter, Julietta Rivera of McAllen; three sisters, Loretto Gordiano of Pharr, Ana Alonzo of San Juan and Laura Cavazos of Weslaco; a brother, Maximiliano Exiga of Arlington, Texas; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm memorial service, today, May 7, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
