ADELINA E. ROCHA
EDINBURG - Adelina E. Rocha, 87, went home to our Lord Monday, April 5, 2021, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Rocha was a former resident of Chicago and was currently living in her hometown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco V. Rocha; a son, Francisco Rocha Jr.; a daughter, Lillian Rocha; her father, Isidro Escobar; her mother, Francisca Maldonado Escobar; a sister, Manuela Farias; and two brothers, Bruno Escobar and Reynaldo Escobar.
Mrs. Rocha is survived by five children, Raymond Rocha of Edinburg, Delia Rocha Flores of Chicago, IL, Isabel Rocha Bryand of Edinburg, Cindy Rocha Zapata, and Lillian Rocha, both of Chicago, IL; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, April 9, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
