EDINBURG - Francisco V. Rocha, 86, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Mr. Rocha had lived in Edinburg since 1987. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his son, Francisco Rocha, Jr.
Mr. Rocha is survived by his wife of 60 years, Adelina Rocha of Edinburg; three children, Ray (Christine) Rocha of Edinburg, Delia (George) Flores of Chicago, IL, and Isabel Bryand of Edinburg; eight siblings, Rudy Rocha of McAllen, Armando Rocha of Indiana, Ismael Rocha of Illinois, Henry Rocha of Maryville, Indiana, Christina Garcia of Yakima, Washington, Leonor Lesama of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ester Guerrero of Maryville, Indiana, and Elvira Rocha of Donna; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 1, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
