SANTANA ROCHA SAN JUAN- Santana Rocha, 75, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at his residence in San Juan. Born in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico, he had lived in San Juan most of his life. Mr. Rocha is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Juanita Rocha; two brothers, Silverio Rocha, and Carlos Rocha. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lilia Rocha, of San Juan; four brothers, Daniel (Irene) Rocha, of McAllen, Martin (Olga) Rocha, of Edinburg, Jose (Alicia) Rocha, of Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico, Magdaleno (Patricia) Rocha, of El Paso, TX.; four sisters, Lupita Rocha, of Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico, Maria Del Refugio Casillas, of Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, Maria Quintero and Francisca Palacios, both of McAllen; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 24, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. today January 25, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
