RICARDO “RICKY” RODEA
SAN JUAN – Ricardo “Ricky” Rodea, 57, went home to our Lord Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in San Juan, he had lived there all of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. Ricky was a loving, giving person who was always willing to help, and always with a smile on his face. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. His charisma will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Apolinar and Elida Rodea.
Ricky is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosaura Rodea of San Juan; a daughter, Rosalynda Rodea of San Juan; three siblings, Jorge Rodea, Yolanda (Gilberto) Santillan, both of San Juan, Dora (David) Casas of Edinburg; and numerous family members.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, April 7, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
