SAN JUAN - Carlos Rodriguez, 82, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in San Juan and had lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Carlos Rodriguez Jr. and Frilan Rodriguez; his parents, Gabriel and Florencia Rodriguez; three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife, Adela B. Rodriguez, of San Juan; six children, Rosa (Romeo) Rodriguez, Fernando (Alicia) Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez, Leticia (James) Mattox, David Rodriguez, all of San Juan, Juan (Diane) Rodriguez, of McAllen; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jose Jesus Rodriguez, of Pharr.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, May 17, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
