CARMEN V. RODRIGUEZ SAN JUAN – Carmen V. Rodriguez, 87, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in San Benito and had lived in San Juan most of her life. She is preceded in death by two children, Marcos Rodriguez, Jr. and Idolina Rodriguez. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Marcos C. Rodriguez, of San Juan; two children, Noemi (+Blas Raul) Rodriguez, of San Juan and Mario A. Rodriguez, of Raleigh, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Daniel Raul (Betty) Rodriguez, of Pharr, Denise N. Rodriguez, David N. Rodriguez, both of San Juan; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
