EDINBURG - Catarino Rodriguez, 91, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Edinburg and lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Timoteo and Luz Rodriguez; and two brothers, Leandro Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez.
Catarino is survived by his wife, Elida Rodriguez of Edinburg; two sons, Ruben (Gloria) Rodriguez of Austin and Javier (Janie) Rodriguez of McAllen; two daughters, Yolanda Cavazos and Melda Rodriguez, both of Edinburg; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Rodriguez and Max Rodriguez, both of Edinburg; and a sister, Mattie Moss of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
