Eloisa Rodriguez

ELOISA RODRIGUEZ PHARR - Eloisa Rodriguez, 44, entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at McAllen Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Pharr, Eloisa had lived there all of her life. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and was employed as an educator at P-SJ-A ISD for over 20 years. Eloisa will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt and co-worker. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Josefina Rodriguez. Eloisa is survived by three sisters, Maria Lourdes De Luna, Irma Leticia (Jose Ramiro) Martinez, both of Pharr, Elizabeth (Jose) Camero, of Edinburg; two nieces, Sophia A. De Luna and Annette Martinez; six nephews, Ricardo "Rico" De Luna II, Roberto "Bubba" De Luna, Ramiro Daniel Martinez, Rene David Martinez, Roberto Diosel Martinez and Misael Camero; a grandniece, Olivia Nicole De Luna; and three grandnephews, Ricardo Nicolas De Luna, Liam Jack Martinez and Rylan Isaiah Martinez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, February 28, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 12 noon Saturday, March 1, 2014, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. The family would like to give special thanks to the Trauma Care Unit and ICU nurses of McAllen Medical Center for the care given to Eloisa. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
