EUDOLIO “TONY” RODRIGUEZ
LINN – Eudolio “Tony” Rodriguez, 52, died Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Raymondville, Mr. Rodriguez had lived in Linn for 32 years and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in San Manuel. Tony was an ECISD Bus Driver for 18 years and a Linn-San Manuel Volunteer Firefighter. He was an active member of the LSMVFD Christmas Run, he loved being Santa! He was committed to community service and never said no to lend a helping hand. Tony loved caring for his garden and his valley lemon and orange trees. He had a great love for farming and driving tractors. He loved his dog, Bella, and his family, always making them laugh with his silly dancing and off-tune singing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Soveida Rodriguez.
Tony is survived by his wife, Alma Alicia Rodriguez; two daughters, Victoria (Mario Vicencio) Rodriguez, Cathy Rodriguez, all of Linn; a son, Dr. Michael Balderas, of San Antonio, Texas; his father, Jesus Rodriguez; in-laws, Raul and Tina Tijerina, of Linn; five brothers, Jose Angel Rodriguez, of Dallas, Texas, Javier Rodriguez, of Grand Prairie, Texas, Ruben Rodriguez, of Rowlett, Texas, Julio Rodriguez, of Michigan, Antonio Rodriguez, of Monterrey, Mexico; five sisters, Norma Trevino, Isabel Rodriguez, Nohemi Alonzo, all of Edinburg, Lydia Rodriguez, of Mission, Rita Turner, of La Sara; and also survived by Eudolio “Teresa” Alvarado, of Alliance, Nebraska
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, February 8, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at St. Anne’s Mission in San Manuel. Cremation will take place at a later date.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
