EUGENIA V. RODRIGUEZ
EDINBURG – Eugenia V. Rodriguez, 81, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Rayones, N.L. Mexico and had lived in Edinburg most her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Rodriguez.
Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by eight children, Domingo Rodriguez, Esthela Rodriguez, Maria Eugenia Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez, Esthela Corpus, all of Edinburg, Alberto Rodriguez of Donna, Rolando Rodriguez of Bay City, Francisca Guadalupe, of McAllen; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Julia Vargas de Martinez, of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico.
A rosary was held Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 pm today, May 20, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
