GABRIELA M. RODRIGUEZ EDINBURG - Gabriela M. Rodriguez, 82, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Uhland, TX, Mrs. Rodriguez had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Gabriela is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Rodriguez Sr.; a son, Jose Rodriguez; her parents, Norberto and Nieves Martinez; five brothers; and one sister. She is survived by four children, Antonio (Gloria) Rodriguez Jr. of McAllen, Rosita "Rosie" (Richard) Peralez, Juan (Vangie) Rodriguez, and Cynthia Elizondo, all of Edinburg; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jesusa Gonzalez of Edinburg, Modesta Hinojosa of Delano, CA, Francisca Sepulveda of Edinburg, Timotea Rodriguez of Los Angeles, CA, and Janie Amaya of Rosenburg, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 28, 2013 and from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, March 29, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
