GLORIA L. RODRIGUEZ SAN ANTONIO/MCALLEN - Gloria L. Rodriguez, 75, passed away peacefully Monday, December 2, 2013, at Sontera Care Center in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Rodriguez was born on January 27, 1938 in Encino, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Rodriguez Jr.; a son Rolando Rodriguez; and her parents, Gustavo and Antonia Luna. Gloria is survived by her three sons, Roman (Thelma) Rodriguez, David (Ronny Huffstickler) Rodriguez, Steve (Annette) Rodriguez; a daughter, Diana (Craig) Jennings; 10 grandchildren, Rolando Rodriguez Jr., Daniel Rodriguez, Christina Trevino, James Cardenas, Michael Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, Annika S. Rodriguez and Steve J. Rodriguez; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers; four sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Rodriguez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 5, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
