Julia Rodriguez Hernandez

Julia Rodriguez Hernandez, 88, went home to our Lord Monday, July 23, 2018, at Solara Hospice in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Luciano Hernandez Sr.; three sons, Felix, Carlos and Jesus Omar Hernandez; and her grandson, Rocky Rodriguez.
Julia is survived by her nine children, Carmen (Porfirio) Cabello of Alamo, Gregorio (Mary Grace) Hernandez of Ogden, UT, Luciano (Elizabeth) Hernandez Jr. of Lubbock, TX, Mario Javier Hernandez, Hector (Esmeralda) Hernandez, Rolando (Janie Cortez) Hernandez, Blanca (Rene) Rodriguez, Martha (Benny) Escobedo and Santa (Israel) Ramirez, all of Edinburg; 32 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
