EDINBURG – Maria D. Rodriguez, 98, passed away Friday, December 5, 2021, at her residence in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Rodriguez; two brothers; three sisters.
Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her ten children, Paula (+ Leonel) Urbina, Lydia (+ Adan) Maldonado, Jose Rodriguez, Rogelio Rodriguez, Yolanda R. Garza, Arturo (Francisca) Rodriguez, Eduardo (Maria Elena) Rodriguez, Juan Manuel (Graciela) Rodriguez, Jorge Luis (Irma) Rodriguez, Julian Angelo (Lucinda) Rodriguez; 42 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; four siblings, Chela Perez, Simona Arevalo, Anita Perez, Eliseo Diaz.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, February 8, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
