Milton Rodriguez

Milton Rodriguez, 24, passed away October 8th, 2021 in Edinburg. On his days off Milton enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite hobbies were barbecuing, laughing, and making the most out of life. Many would consider him the life of the party. On top of all those things Milton was a loving, caring, and high spirited soul. He was somebody you could count on for anything. He showed so much love for everything around him and dedicated his life to being a devoted father. Shortly before his passing he reunited with his first love, Chasidy Gomez, who is soon expecting his child. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Yolanda Mata, and an uncle, Jaime Mata. He is survived by his mother and father, Cynthia Mata and Roberto Segovia; four siblings, Alondra Rodriguez, Vanessa Rodriguez, Ariana Segovia, and Josh Segovia; two children, Ethan Jay Rodriguez and Emmie Mae Rodriguez "Nancy Cornejo;" a step-daughter, Journey Farias "Chasidy Gomez;" maternal grandfather, Juan Mata; paternal grandmother, Lucia Segovia; and an uncle, Juan G. Mata. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, October 18, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
