DONNA - Ramon "Ray" Rodriguez, 57, entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at his residence in Donna.
Born in Donna, Mr. Rodriguez had lived there all of his life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Virginia Rodriguez.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Rodriguez; two sons, Ramon Rodriguez Jr. and Rolando (Monica) Rodriguez; a daughter, Norma Linda; two grandchildren, Melanie Jolynn and Rolando Jr.; and ten siblings, Connie (Ramiro) Bustos, Rudy (Irma) Rodriguez, Janie (Eloy) Arenas, Martha (Ruben) Mendoza, Linda (Rick) Rodriguez, Olivia (Steve) Vera, Johnny (Irma) Rodriguez, Robert (Lisa) Rodriguez, Norma (Mario) Rodriguez, and Rene (Michelle) Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, November 19, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Saturday, November 20, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
