ROLANDO RODRIGUEZ EDINBURG - Rolando Rodriguez, 54, was laid to rest on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. He is survived by his wife, Maria A. Ramirez of Edinburg; a son, Rolando (DeeJay) Rodriguez, Jr. of New York; parents, Jorge Luis Rodriguez of McAllen and Laura Rodriguez of Edinburg; three siblings, Nora (Roberto) Gonzalez of San Juan, Omar (Liana) Rodriguez and Joel (Sylvia) Rodriguez, both of Edinburg; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, June 21, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
