Edinburg – Rosa Rodriguez, 75, passed away Friday February 22, 2019, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
She was born and lived in Edinburg all of her life.
Rosa is preceded in death by a son, Eduardo Rodriguez; her parents, Magdaleno and Angelita Rodriguez; and three brothers, Rosalio, Francisco, and Felipe Rodriguez.
She is survived by her husband, Arturo Rodriguez; three children, Arthur Rodriguez Jr., Diane Margaret Rodriguez, both of Edinburg, Barbara Ann (Julio) Perez of McAllen; three grandchildren, Janel K. Placencia, Chassidy, and Cianna Leal; two step-grandchildren, Kevin and Arieana Perez; three great-grandchildren; five siblings, Martha Moreno of San Marcos, TX, Connie Llanos of Lockhart, TX, Marcy Garcia of El Paso, TX, Joe Rodriguez of San Juan, and Margaret Waterman of Buda, TX.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. Memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
