ROSALINDA “CANA” RODRIGUEZ DONNA – Rosalinda “Cana” Rodriguez, 56, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, at her residence in Donna. Born in Bay City, TX, she had lived in Donna most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Leonila Ramos; two brothers, Benito Ramos, Jr. and Raul Ramos. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Baldemar Rodriguez of Donna; two children, David and Sandra Rodriguez, both of Donna; two grandchildren, Damian and Desiree Alvarado; 10 siblings, Felipe Ramos, Leonor Moreno, Berta Solis, Teresa Garza, Viviana Medrano, Leonila Morado, all of Alamo, Margarita Charles of Idaho, Maria Luisa Garcia of Hereford, TX, Raquel Aleman of McAllen and Rebecca Ramos of Donna. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 13, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Donna City Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
