GUADALUPE ROJAS EDINBURG - Guadalupe Rojas, 84, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Brownsville, Mr. Rojas lived in Edinburg most of his life. Guadalupe was a hardworking, generous, and loving man of God. Nothing made him happier than to know that his children walked with the Lord. He will be greatly missed, but we look forward to seeing him again in glory! He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Juanita Rojas of Edinburg; eight children, Sarah (Jose) Saenz of Berwyn, IL., Thomas Daniel (Oralia) Rojas of Edinburg, Ruth (Clarence) Hunt of Oxsford, AL., Rebeca (Israel) Rodriguez of Mission, Ena Noemi (Roberto) Rodriguez of Elsa, Elena (Juan) Hernandez, Adam Rojas, both of Edinburg, and Ruben (Amanda) Rojas of McAllen; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herminio Rojas of San Juan and Jose Duque of Mission; two sisters, Frances Morales of Edinburg and Ana Duque of Washington State. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, June 20, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
