Antonio De La Rosa

ANTONIO DE LA ROSA PHARR — Antonio De La Rosa, 77, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Mr. De La Rosa had lived in Pharr all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anselmo and Trinidad De La Rosa; two brothers; and a sister. Antonio is survived by his wife, Elena De La Rosa of Pharr; eight children, Oralia (Leandro) Montemayor of Donna, Arturo (Rosa) De La Rosa of San Juan, Antonio (Elodia) De La Rosa, Jr. of Alamo, Dora (Humberto) Zamarripa of Edinburg, Graciela (Juan) Perez of Donna, Jose Angel (Norma) De La Rosa, Mario (Idania) De La Rosa, both of San Juan, Alfredo (Lucy) De La Rosa of Pharr; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother. A rosary was held Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. today, April 7, 2014, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
