ROSA I. BARRERA

SAN JUAN – Rosa I. Barrera, 82, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Heights at Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Honore Izaguirre.

Mrs. Barrera is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roque E. Barrera; five children, Roque Elias (Deborah) Barrera II, Rolando Barrera, Roxana (Jose Lozano) Barrera, Rebekah (Ruben) Zamora, Rosalie (Cristian Bratu) Barrera; seven grandchildren, Rolando II, Jordyn, Kaley, Miah, Liam, Sebastian, Eric; five great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Homero Izaguirre, Manuel Izaguirre, Noelia Izaguirre, Imelda Smith.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. talk Monday, February 10, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
