NOEMI "MIMI" RUANO
McALLEN - Noemi "Mimi" Ruano, age 58 entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the comfort of her residence.
Mrs. Ruano was born in Weslaco, Texas. She was a devoted valley educator for 17 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Emeterio Garcia and Margarita Garcia; and a sister, Elida Martinez.
Mrs. Ruano is survived by her loving husband Eduardo Ruano of McAllen. The beloved mother of Michelle Ruano (Ronnie) Guerra of Edinburg and Nicole Marie Ruano of McAllen; she is survived by her sisters Belia, Susie, Dora and Sylvia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank family and friends for their prayers and support through her journey. Especially the ACTS Community in the valley.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, June 24, 2011 at Holy Spirit Parish, in McAllen. Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Holy Spirit Parish in McAllen. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
