Dora S. Ruiz, 83, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Ruiz; two daughters, Dina and Diana Ruiz; parents, Alejo and Santos Salinas; brother, Irineo Salinas; two nephews, Alfredo "Freddy" Salinas and Leeroy Salinas.
Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. Ruiz; four siblings, Alfredo (Lydia) Salinas, Odilia Salinas, Dr. Alejo Salinas Jr., Exiquio (Eva) Salinas; nieces and nephews, Dalia (Jaime) Salinas, Xavier Salinas, Iris Salinas Perez, Candy Martinez, Omar Salinas, Edrian Salinas, Erik Salinas, Dale M. Ramos, Carmen Ruiz; brother-in-law, Rey (Lupe) Ruiz; and sister-in-law, Leonila Ruiz.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
