GREGORIO RUIZ PHARR – Gregorio Ruiz, 40, died Sunday, June 08, 2014, at Solara Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by his father, Andres Ruiz; and a sister Zulema Ruiz. He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Ontiveros; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Donava; and a stepson Heriberto (Maria) Ontiveros Jr., all of Pharr; mother, Petra Ruiz; two sisters, Anabel (Adan) Ortiz, Selina Ruiz, all of Alamo; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today June 10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
