EDINBURG – Olga Minerva Ruiz, 75, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Olga had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Isabel Ruiz; and seven siblings, Ofelia Garza, Josefina Cantu, Juan Ruiz, Ricardo Ruiz, Genaro Ruiz, Tomasa Ruiz and Rene Ruiz.
Olga is survived by a son, Dale (Deborah) Ramos of Edinburg; three granddaughters, Delisa Ramos, Deandra Ramos, Denise Ramos; and a brother, Reynaldo (Guadalupe) Ruiz of Oregon.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
