George Henry Sacky

George Henry Sacky Weslaco – George Henry Sacky, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Harbor View Care Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Sacky was born January 23, 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas and lived in Weslaco most of his life. He had attended W.B. Ray High School and was a Master Leatherman in construction. Mr. Sacky enjoyed the outdoors, building things, loved animals, including stray dogs and cats. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Sacky; and his parents, Frank and Annie Sacky. Mr. Sacky is survived by a brother Frank (Susan) Sacky of Corpus Christi; two sons, Page (Maurine) Sacky, their three children, Kristen, Emily and Alexis Sacky of Corpus Christi, Texas, Stacy (Kelly) Sacky, their two children, Sierra and Zack Sacky all of Hallsville, Texas. A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2013, at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be made to, Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Texas in George’s memory. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
