EDINBURG - Maria P. Saenz, 85, died Monday, December 4, 2017, at McAllen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Francisca Perez; three brothers, Clemente, Jose and Manuel Perez; three sisters, Elva Perez, Mary Lou Miranda, and Lydia Rios.
Mrs. Saenz is survived by her husband of 65 years, Elizandro Saenz; eight children, Elizandro (Becky) Saenz Jr., Jesus (Gloria) Saenz, Sylvia (Arturo Valdez) Saenz, Delia Saenz, Elizabeth Trevino, Leticia Saenz, Geronimo (Maria) Saenz, Patricia (Humberto) Solis; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Enedina Berrones and Emma Montez.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
