ENRIQUE "HENRY" SALAZAR EDINBURG/CASTLE ROCK, CO - Enrique "Henry" Salazar, 69, died Monday March 4, 2013, at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO. Born in Edinburg, Mr. Salazar and his wife moved to Colorado in 2008 and had lived there ever since. Enrique worked for HEB as produce manager until 1984. After surviving a catastrophic illness in 1984, he continued to bring love and joy to the lives of his wife and son. He was known by many as the tic-tac-toe master of South Texas. Enrique is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Salazar, Sotera Armijo Salazar; one sister, Sotera Bazan; two brothers, Luis Salazar and Isidro Salazar. He is survived by his wife, Berta Esquivel Salazar of Castle Rock, CO; one son, Jorge (Cheryl) Salazar of Castle Rock, CO; one brother, Estorgio Salazar of Edinburg; two sisters, Antonia Garza and Paula DeLeon. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 12, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
