FELIPE SALAZAR
PHARR - Felipe Salazar, 92, entered eternal rest Thursday, March 2, 2023, at his residence in Pharr.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Salazar; a great-granddaughter, Phoebe Nevaeh Salazar; a great-grandson, Emilio Andrew Paez; his parents, Antonio and Felicita Salazar; and six siblings.
Mr. Salazar is survived by 11 children, Armandina (Alberto) Rodriguez, Alfredo (Elia) Salazar, Americo (Evelia) Salazar, Maria Ermila (Arturo) Loredo, Maria Elvia (Carlos) Frade, Antonio (Marina) Salazar, Guillermina (Alejandro) Lopez, Leticia (Rafael) Herrera, Juan Pablo (Ermelinda) Salazar, Leonila (Rolando) Rodriguez, Felipe Salazar Jr.; 38 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Gumesinda Vasquez and Jose Salazar.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. talk Monday, March 6, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
