Adan Salinas

ADAN SALINAS EDINBURG - Adan Salinas, 87, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Comfort House in McAllen. Mr. Salinas had lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Salinas; his parents, Jose and Petra Salinas; a brother, Moises Salinas; and a sister, Oralia Garza. Adan is survived by five children, Adan George (Mary) Salinas, Jose Alberto (Susie) Salinas, both of Edinburg, Mario (Estela) Salinas of Mission, Thelma (Robert) Linares of San Antonio, TX, Velma (Richard) Loukakis of Corpus Christi, TX; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Salinas of Austin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
