EDINBURG – Adelina Ramirez Salinas, 75, died Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mrs. Salinas was a life-long resident of Edinburg and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed by Edinburg CISD and retired after 30 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto and Sofia Ramirez.
Mrs. Salinas is survived by her husband, Anselmo Salinas of Edinburg; four sons, Oscar (Ana Liza) Salinas, Rudy (Libby Ann) Salinas, both of Edinburg, Obie (Amy Rister) Salinas of Austin, Jesse (Amy) Salinas of Edinburg; eight grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Salinas, Giovanni and Abbie Salinas, Rister and Reagen Salinas, John and James Salinas; and two sisters, Lala Galvan and Lupe Davila, both of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
