EDINBURG - Alfonso Salinas, 94, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rafaela Salinas; a son, Javier Salinas.
Mr. Salinas is survived by nine children, Hugo Salinas, Maria (Amado) Sanchez, Jesus (Beatriz) Salinas, Fernando Salinas, Elizabeth (Jaime) Garza, Mario (Elia) Salinas, Rene (Belinda) Salinas, Aaron (Sandra) Salinas, Adrian (Georgina) Salinas; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm, with a 6 pm rosary Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 am Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
