LILIA A. SALINAS PHARR – Lilia A. Salinas, 69, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her residence in Pharr. She is preceded in death by her brother, Socorro Flores; and her grandson, Edward Sepulveda. Mrs. Salinas is survived by her husband, Santana Salinas; six children, Mary Martinez, Santana Humberto Salinas, Juan Salinas, David Salinas, all of Pharr, Enrique Salinas and Ludy Salinas, both of San Juan; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Enrique Flores of Rio Bravo, Jesus Flores, Efrain Flores, both of Mission, Isabel Trevino, Alejandra Salinas, San Juanita, Armando, and Mauro Flores, all of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 25, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
