ALAMO - Ramiro Salinas, 66, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in Alamo, Mr. Salinas had lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cruz and Margarita Salinas; and a brother, Reynaldo Salinas.
Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Santos Salinas of Alamo; four children, Connie (Mike) Hernandez of McAllen, Ramiro Salinas, Jr., Cynthia Madrigal, both of Alamo and Saul Salinas of Sioux City, Iowa; six grandchildren, Melanie Ann Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Jr., Erik Jacob Salinas, Daniela Salinas, Amira Madrigal and Eliseo Godinez; four brothers, Andres Salinas, Rogelio Salinas, Raul Salinas and Robert Salinas, all of Alamo; and a sister, Raquel Alvarez of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, November 12, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
