VIVIANA R. SALINAS
SAN JUAN - Viviana R. Salinas, our beloved mother, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg at the age of 78.
She was born in San Juan and had lived there all of her life. She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Maximo Salinas Jr.; and her parents, Tranquilino and Leonor Ramos.
She is survived by two sons, Maximo (Maricela) Salinas III, Robert (Martha) Salinas, both of San Juan; four daughters, Aillene (Armando) Aguinaga, of Edinburg, Elisa (Cruz) Garza, San Juanita Salinas, Melly (Mario) Ibarra, all of Fort Worth, Texas; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Teresa Hernandez, of San Juan and Cruz Reyna, of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, January 9, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, January 10, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
