We invite anyone who wants to celebrate and join the family for memories, music and fun.

Salvador was born in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico. He lived many different lives in his lifetime, touching many with his boisterous laugh and infectious smile. His charisma and charm made him a favorite to many creating life long friends

Best known as Sal, he was a brother, cousin, friend, uncle, grandpa and great grandpa, and your biggest fan. He was once a mischievous boy with a flair for always finding exciting things to do; he could often be found hunting rabbits, hiding in buildings, or swimming in the river and napping under trees.

He first left the valley with his brother Robert and worked in many industries including the pipelines as a chemist, working using heavy equipment, cooking, maintenance, selling newspapers, and just being a straight hustler. Sal could always make something out of nothing. He traveled the world sometimes causing mayhem and sometimes touching lives. He loved music, going to college basketball games and more than any other sports team, loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was a die hard cowboys fan through and through, always looking for the game, wearing a cowboys shirt, and surrounding himself with all the memorabilia he could get his hands on. Much was often gifted as people just gravitated to his personality and ability to make you laugh.

After lifetimes worth of fun and adventure he made his way home to Edinburg where he belongs. He learned there is nothing more important than God and family and used his very last breath to encourage us to get along, be together and come closer to God. He believed in forgiveness and would always say, "Just get along and leave it alone." As an active member of Abundant Grace Community Church, he used every opportunity he could to get out into the community. He loved being part of the holiday events, going to church regularly. He always encouraged people around him to read the bible and seek peace and understanding in the Lord through prayer and studying which he did weekly with his pastors, every week up till the day he died.

Salvador often reached out to friends, and tried to be there for those that needed him, even if all he could do was make a phone call, or give you advice, a tight hug and when he had it, a good ear to listen to. He would often reach out to his many sources to find just what you needed, delivering it with an infectious smile. His phone calls and rambunctious laughter will be missed more than anything. But everyone knows the scent of cologne and aftershave coming from the blue eyed Mexican is something that can never be forgotten. If the eyes are the window to the soul then it's no wonder he could say so much with just one look.

With all his adventures, and success, failures, and growths, his greatest achievement is bringing his family together to love and celebrate his life and the love he left us all with. He knew we would need to be together to get through this as the love he gave, shared and received was immeasurable and so many of us would miss him so much. .

He will be looked for in everything we do and everywhere we go as nothing can take the place of the warmth of his embrace and smile.

He will be looked for in everything we do and everywhere we go as nothing can take the place of the warmth of his embrace and smile. I love you! I love you! I love you! Till we’re home together again.
