CASTO SANCHEZ EDINBURG – Casto Sanchez, 79, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Solara Hospital in McAllen. Born in Mexico, Mr. Sanchez had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Casto and Dionica Sanchez; and numerous sisters and brothers. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Esperanza Sanchez of Edinburg; a son Casto (Donna) Sanchez, Jr. of Cathedral City, CA; a daughter, Delia Sanchez; two grandchildren, Nicole A. (Miguel) Blanco, Kyle Burton; and a great-grandson, Jayden Blanco, all of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
