CONCEPCION SANCHEZ ALAMO - Concepcion Sanchez, 62, died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at her residence in Alamo. Born in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mrs. Sanchez had lived in Alamo for 20 years and was formerly of Pharr. She was a member of The Lord Christian Center in Weslaco. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her husband, Marcial Sanchez, of Alamo; seven children, Maria Minerva Sanchez, Gerardo Sanchez, Julissa Sanchez, Asenette Sanchez, Annette Sanchez, all of Alamo, Elizabeth Tenorio, of Pharr, Marcial Sanchez Jr., of Clute; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rafaela Mejorado, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Irma Mejorado, Rebecca Mejorado, Olga Mejorado, all of Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; and three brothers, Humberto Mejorado, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Jose Mejorado, of Reynosa and Ramon Mejorado, of Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, September 4, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
