ELENA SANCHEZ SAN JUAN – Elena Sanchez, 81, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at her residence in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eliborio Sanchez, Sr.; two daughters, Martha and Edna Sanchez; six siblings; and a grandson, Rolando Mireles. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her ten children, Yolanda (Fidencio) Salinas, Rosa Maria (Anselmo) Trevino, Josefa Ramos, Eduardo Sanchez, all of Pharr, Eliborio (Alicia) Sanchez, Jr., Estella Vela, Enrique Luis Sanchez, Melissa Sanchez, all of San Juan, Diamantina (Angel) Mireles of Caldwell, ID, Ernesto Sanchez of Grafton, ND; 31 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
