Felix Herrera Sanchez

FELIX HERRERA SANCHEZ SAN JUAN – Felix Herrera Sanchez, 83, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Born in Mission, Mr. Sanchez had lived in San Juan all of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. He is preceded in death by a son, Fernando Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Crisofora Sanchez, of San Juan; seven children, Ruben (Elvira) Sanchez, of Lopezville, Noelia (Rene) Suarez, Oralia (Jesus) Soto, Aida Sanchez, Rosa Elvia Sanchez, all of San Juan, Maria Inez (Manuel) Cardona, of Fort Worth, and Felix (Rosario) Sanchez Jr., of Alamo; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Olga Garcia and Maria Martinez, both of Lubbock. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 11, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
