IDALIA SANCHEZ EDINBURG - Idalia Sanchez, 59, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Solara Hospital in McAllen. Born in Poldin, OH, Mrs. Sanchez had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She was employed as an LVN at Hidalgo County Health Department. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Manuela Guerrero, Sr. Idalia is survived by her husband, Eliseo J. Sanchez; a daughter, Laura Sanchez; seven siblings, Felicitas (Rodolfo) Chapa, Jesus (Janie) Guerrero, Jr., Sarah (Kenneth) Raines, David Guerrero, Lisa (Greg) Garza, Eva Guerrero, Ruth Guerrero; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, October 11, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Templo Bethel Family Worship Center, 420 S. 12th St. in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
