Maria Eugenia Sanchez

SAN JUAN - Maria Eugenia Sanchez, 67, died Saturday, September 15, 2018, at her residence in San Juan.
Maria was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very giving person who was always positive and concerned about everyone. Her grandchildren were her life and she was a mother figure to her nephews and friends. Maria enjoyed dancing, traveling, and shopping, and was always dressed to impress.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Vallejo and Edmundo Adame Sr.
Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mario E. Sanchez of San Juan; three children, Erica (Joe) Molina of Pharr, Alfredo "Fred" (Anallancy) Garza III, Lisa (Adam Chavera) Garza, both of San Juan; nine grandchildren, Mark, Aseneth, Tiffany, Ashley, Allen, Aidan, Raylynn, Renee, Adam Jr.; and three siblings, Edmundo, Manuel and Ramona.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, September 17, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Pallbearers will be Mark Salinas, Allen Garza, Jorge Garza, Joe Molina, Daniel Sanchez and Alfredo Garza.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
